Sophia and Hugh’s Suffolk wedding was one of those remarkable moments. The day unfolded in the most timeless way, beginning in the village church where Sophia and Hugh exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends. A setting rooted in personal history, it offered a calm and elegant start before the celebrations moved into full flourish.

From there, the atmosphere shifted gently into a relaxed afternoon as guests gathered across the glorious garden at the house. The summer light, the open space, and the natural charm of the surroundings created a warm and inviting scene. The transition into the marquee for the wedding breakfast revealed an entirely new layer of design. Within it, our Margot chairs brought sculptural refinement to the tablescape, chosen by Sophia and Katrina early in the planning process.

Their decision to commit to 240 Margot chairs sight unseen spoke volumes about their confidence in the vision — a trust we deeply value. Millie and her team created an abundance of texture and movement, framing the space with artistry and intention that elevated the structure from beautiful to breathtaking.

As dusk arrived, the celebration evolved once again, this time drawing guests towards the speakeasy-style nightclub crafted for the evening. The shift in tone — from elegant dining to after-dark revelry — was seamless, with the energy building effortlessly. Outside the lounge, our Amalfi furniture created an intimate decked area where guests could step out for air, conversation, or a moment of calm away from the dance floor. It brought a sense of ease and flow to the space, offering comfort without diluting the sophistication of the setting.

Orchestrating every phase of this day was the formidable Katrina Otter Weddings. Balancing the logistics of a large-scale marquee celebration, the coordination of multiple specialist suppliers travelling deep into Suffolk, and the execution of a design of this calibre is no small task.
